Anthony Miller Jr | Homicide Watch DC news about Anthony Miller Jren-usSun, 07 Sep 2014 21:08:38 -0400Midnight Shooting Kills Anthony Miller Jr<p><iframe src="" width="100%" height="350" frameborder=0></iframe></p> <p>An overnight shooting in Northeast D.C. killed 22-year-old <a href="">Anthony Miller Jr</a>, MPD reported Sunday.</p> <p>Police found Miller in the 3100 block of Newton Street Northeast, near the Maryland border, at midnight Sunday after responding to a report of a shooting.</p> <p>MPD's full press release is below: <span id="more-24691"></span></p> <blockquote><p> Homicide in the 3100 block of Newton Street, NE</p> <p>( Washington, DC) – Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch are investigating a homicide which occurred in the 3100 block of Newton Street, NE. On Sunday, September 7, 2014, at approximately 12:00 am, members from the Fifth District responded for the report of a shooting.</p> <p>The victim 22-year-old Anthony Miller Jr. was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.</p> <p>The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons wanted for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call the police at (202) 727-9099.
