Nobody in the neighborhood, a tightly packed hamlet of small homes, called 911 until almost an hour after the shots were fired, law enforcement sources say, hampering efforts to make quick arrests or gather leads. Canvassing the neighborhood has yielded little useful information.

Laura AmicoTue, 13 Sep 2011 08:06:01 -0400http://homicidewatch.org/2011/09/13/bobby-jacksons-father-asks-just-tell-what-you-heard/Bobby Lee JacksonBobby Lee Jackson killed in NE DC Shootinghttp://homicidewatch.org/2011/06/25/bobby-lee-jackson-killed-in-ne-dc-shooting/

An early morning shooting in Northeast DC killed a man Saturday, police said Saturday evening.

The victim was identified as Bobby Lee Jackson of Northwest DC.
