Week in Review

In brief:

Kevin Lamont Clark, accused of killing 17-year-old Ricardo Vondell Minger, was ordered held without bail when Judge Russell Canan determined probable cause in the first-degree murder case at a preliminary hearing on Tuesday.

Cinthya Proctor, Anneka Nelson, Johnnie Sweets and Laurence Hassan were arrested and charged this week with murder in the case of missing 18-year-old D.C. woman Latisha Frazier.

A City Paper cover story reopened the DC9 case by asking the question “Who was Ami Mohammed?”

Prosecutors are still investigating. No new charges have been filed.

In the meantime, lawyers, cops, activists, and reporters are poring over every detail of what did or didn’t happen that terrible night. But in the fervor over the unsolved mystery, the city has learned very little about one key piece of the story: The man who wound up dead.

A 20-year-old Oxon Hill, Md. woman was charged in the February 2010 shooting death of Michaeldeaon Tally in Northeast D.C. Charging documents allege that Latonya Hill was involved in the robbery attempt on Talley that left him dead.

An unidentified man was shot to death in a Petworth alley Friday night.
