Friday

Kevin Clark in courtroom 302 (Judge Thomas Motley) for a felony status conference in a first-degree murder case. The victim, Ricardo Minger, was shot to death Jan. 7. Clark is represented by attorney Madalyn Harvey. The hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Charging documents in the case are here.

Donald Crosland in courtroom 302 (Judge Thomas Motley) for a preliminary hearing in a first-degree murder case. The victim, Ricardo Minger, was shot to death Jan. 7. Crosland is represented by attorney Dennis Braddock. The hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Charging documents in the case are here.

Curtis Faison in courtroom 310 (Judge Lynn Leibovitz) for a felony arraignment in a first-degree murder case. The victim, Melvin White, was shot to death April 10, 2010. Faison is represented by attorney Larry Kupers. The hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m.

William Spriggs in courtroom 310 (Judge Lynn Leibovitz) for a felony arraignment in a second-degree murder case. The victim, Antoine Buckner, was shot to death May 30, 2010. Spriggs is represented by attorney Thomas Dybdahl. The hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m.

Leon Truesdale in courtroom 302 (Judge Thomas Motley) for a felony status conference in a felony murder case. The victim, Calvin Godsey, was shot to death June 17, 2010. Truesdale is represented by attorney James Rudasill. The hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m.

Torian Adams in courtroom 310 (Judge Lynn Leibovitz) for a felony status conference in a first-degree murder case. The victim, Victor Mba-Jonas Jr, was shot June 27, 2010 and died about a month later. Adams is represented by attorney William Roberts. The hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m.

Note: Other events this week

Tuesday marks the one year anniversary of the fatal South Capitol Street shooting. A vigil is planned to begin at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the parking lot of Giant Food Store (1535 Alabama Avenue, SE). Those gathered will then walk to 1333 Alabama Avenue, SE.
