Keith Littlepage Pleads Innocent in Stabbing Death of Selina Knight

Keith Littlepage pleaded innocent today to the stabbing death of his girlfriend, Selina Knight, at her Southeast D.C. apartment.

Littlepage, 49, also pleaded innocent to the seven other charges against him, including burglary and kidnapping.

Littlepage has been detained since March 10 in the case. Investigators believe he killed Knight on March 4, after allegedly twice burglarizing her southeast D.C. apartment and threatening her on multiple occasions.

According to charging documents, friends had tried to contact Knight several times on March 4, but were not able to reach her. Just before midnight that day they went to her apartment to check on her and found her dead.

Officers found derogatory graffiti written on walls throughout the apartment.

“Bitch you gave me HIV,” was among the statements made by the graffiti, officers said.

In court Friday for Littlepage’s indictment, Prosecutor Robert Feital said he anticipated that the trial would last about three weeks and that the government would call approximately 30 witnesses. The trial is scheduled to begin July 11, 2012.
