Man Found Fatally Shot in SE DC Friday Morning

A man found shot in a Southeast DC alley early Friday morning has died of his injuries.

MPD tweeted early Friday morning that the man is an adult and he was found unconscious and not breathing.

Reports the Washington Post:

The man’s body was found in an alleyway off Park Place SE, between White Place and 23rd Street, around 1 a.m., after residents of the neighborhood called police.

WUSA reports that police responded to the phone call from residents at about 11 p.m. Thursday night. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, WUSA reports.
