Police found a man with multiple gunshot wounds in the street in Southeast DC Wednesday evening; he was the first of what would be two violent deaths overnight.
WUSA reports that police responded to the 1600 block of 21st Street SE for a report of a shooting shortly after 10 p.m. Wednesday night.

That is where they found a man lying in the street suffering from multiple gun shot wounds. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he died shortly after arrival.
A lookout was issued for a black male, six feet tall, medium complexion, wearing cornrows, a baseball cap and dark clothing.
