Fox5: Md. Man Lost his Job When Detectives Told Employer he was a Murder Suspect

Fox5 reported yesterday on the case of a Maryland man who lost his job after MPD detectives told his boss that he was a suspect in the Heritage India murder case. The man has been cleared, but did not get his job back.

Rickey Pharr‘s trial in the death of Angelo Jones is expected to continue with Judge Thomas Motley this week. Jurors were told to anticipate the trial picking up again Monday.

On Friday,

Brian Gaither and Johnnie Sweets are expected for a motions hearing with Judge William Jackson. They are scheduled for trial in Nov. 2012 and are suspected of felony murder and first-degree murder in the death of Latisha Frazier.

Kevin Benbow is also expected with Judge Jackson. He’s scheduled for a preliminary hearing on a charge of first-degree murder while armed in connection with shooting death of Jinnell Barbara McQueen.

Wayne Jackson is expected for a preliminary hearing with Judge Ronna Beck. He’s suspected of felony murder in the stabbing death of Kevin Blackwell Jr.

William Faison is also expected by Judge Beck. He’s scheduled for a status hearing in a felony murder while armed case. He’s suspected in the shooting death of Jeffrey Yarnell Covington.

An early evening shooting in Northeast DC Thursday night seriously injured one man, possibly killing him, police and media reports say.

Witness recounts hiding gun, T-shirt for Pharr

A 22-year-old witness who says she held Rickey Pharr’s gun, T-shirt and hat after he allegedly shot Angelo Jones took the stand today in the first-degree murder trial against Pharr.

The witness, a friend of Pharr’s, said she was drinking a cup of champagne on a front porch in Lincoln Heights with a friend when they heard gunshots coming from the direction of the Clay Terrace neighborhood.

Katrell Henry Sentenced to 20 Years in Prison for Shooting Death of Laroy Bryant

August Trial Date for Eric Foreman

Eric Foreman’s trial for felony murder has been rescheduled from February to August.

Foreman, 18, is charged in the August 2010 shooting death of Catholic University graduate student Neil Godleski. Godleski was bicycling home from his job as a waiter at a restaurant when Foreman allegedly robbed him for $60 at gunpoint in Sherman Circle. Godleski was shot several times in the course of the robbery.

Keep both parties families in your prayers, at the end of this trial there will be alot of being affected by the outcome either way. Angelo Jones family has lost a son,brother,nephew,father etc. So keep all of them in your prayers. Rickey also has a family that could possibly loose him as well so keep him and his family in your prayers as well. Despite how you feel about this case their are alot of people being affected by it so if you know the words of prayer just pray for the the everyone involved as well as there family and friends.

Wayne Jackson Arrested in Fatal “Revenge Robbery” of Kevin Blackwell Jr.

A third suspect has been arrested on suspicion of felony murder in connection with the stabbing death of Kevin Blackwell Jr.

Wayne A. Jackson, a 22-year-old Capitol Heights Md. man, was presented with the charge today at DC Superior Court. His case joins those of Harold Maurice Proctor and Christopher Reginald Williams, also suspected in Blackwell’s death.
