Satcher was shot in the chest on Wednesday, Jan. 5 at approximately 7:20 pm. He died soon after. His step-father, Ronald Page, has been charged with first-degree murder in Satcher’s death.

Metro Police have identified the suspect charged in the shooting death of 17-year-old Ricardo Vondell Minger in Southeast D.C. Friday night as Kevin Lamont Clark, a 23-year-old Hyattsville, Md. man.
Clark was arrested Sunday and charged with first-degree murder while armed in the case.

A full DNA analysis in the murder case against Marcus McLean could take a further seven months, pushing a trial date in the case to the end of this year.
McLean, 24, is alleged to be responsible for the stabbing death of Delando King, a gay D.C. man, on Aug. 8 at King’s apartment in the 1100 block of 10th Street Northwest.

I am a resident of the block where Mr. Morillo was killed. I would like his friends and family to know that their loved one did not die alone. Many of my fellow residents ran to this young man’s aid and performed CPR and offered him comfort. Please, please find a tiny bit of solace in knowing that he was not alone at the end. My heart goes out to his family and friends. May we all eventually find peace and justice for Mr. Morillo

A man detained by police soon after the shooting death of Nicholas Satcher in Northeast DC last night has told police that he is the one responsible for the shooting. Satcher is Page’s step-son.
That’s according to charging documents filed against Ronald Page in DC Superior Court today and arguments made at Page’s arraignment this afternoon. Page is charged with first degree murder charge.
