Tuesday

Co-defendants Reginald Vance and Derrell Bennett in courtroom 310 (Judge Lynne Leibovitz) for a preliminary hearing in a first degree murder case. The victim, Keith Banks, was shot and killed Nov. 12 near Galloway Street in Northeast D.C. Vance is represented by attorney Eugene Ohm. Charging documents in Vance’s case are here. Bennett is represented by attorney Daniel Quillin. Charging documents in Bennett’s case are here. The hearing is scheduled for 9:25 a.m.

Damon Antonio Sams in courtroom 320 (Judge Gerald Fisher) for a felony status conference at 9:30 a.m. in a second degree murder case. Sams has pleaded innocent to killing Ashley McRae.

Friday

Kwan Kearney and Larnell Allen in courtroom 319 (Judge Thomas Motley) for a preliminary hearing in a first degree murder case. The victim, Joseph Alonzo Sharps, Jr. was shot Nov. 8 while in the 1300 block of Holbrook St. NE. Kearney is represented by attorney John Briley. Allen is represented by attorney Lauren Bernstein. Charging documents for both cases are here. The hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m.
