Week Ahead

Judge Robert Morin will begin jury selection Monday as Irving Harris Johnson‘s trial begins. Johnson faces first-degree murder charges in connection with a 2011 Columbia Heights triple shooting.

Keir Johnson and Lester Williams‘ trial will begin Monday at 9:30 a.m. before Judge Herbert Dixon.

Karl Pugh‘s trial is slated to begin Tuesday in Judge Ronna Beck’s courtroom. Pugh is accused of fatally shooting Quentin Ragland in 2011 when the men were high on PCP and got into an argument.

David Bolden will appear before Judge Dixon at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday for a felony status conference.

Burnis Cole is scheduled to appear before Judge Herbert Dixon Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. for a preliminary hearing.

Alexis Pineda will appear in Judge Morin’s courtroom Friday at 9:30 a.m. for sentencing. Morin is also scheduled to sentence Terrence McNeal at 12 p.m.

Khari Williams is expected in Judge Lynn Leibovitz’s courtroom at 9:30 a.m. Friday for a preliminary hearing.

Alexander Buckley, suspected of murdering Siobhan Lee, is due before Judge Russell Canan at 9:30 a.m. for a preliminary hearing. Canan will also hold a status hearing for Earl Johnson at 9:30 a.m.

Anthony Speight is due to appear before Judge Canan at 10:30 a.m. for sentencing.

Daren Vaughn will appear before Judge John Ramsey Johnson at 9:30 a.m. for a status hearing.

Gary Niles Montgomery is scheduled for a mental observation hearing before Judge Morin at 11:30 a.m. Judge Morin will also host a status conference for Michael Davis at 10 a.m. and a status hearing for James Deangelo Sandidge at 10:30 a.m.

Robert Carter will appear before Judge Thomas Motley at 2 p.m. for sentencing.

Kevon Austin is expected in Judge Beck’s courtroom at 11:30 a.m. for a preliminary hearing. Davon Holmes will appear before Beck at 11 a.m. for a status hearing.

Earl Johnson will appear before Judge Canan at 9:30 a.m. for a status hearing.

James Brown is due to appear before Judge Morin at 9:30 a.m. for a preliminary hearing.

Lamont Terry will appear in Judge Morin’s courtroom at 10:30 a.m. for a status hearing.

Laurence Hassan will appear before Judge William Jackson at 10:30 a.m. for sentencing.
