Kevin Lamont Robinson Killed in Sunday Shooting

Kevin Lamont Robinson, 46, was found dead inside a building in the 600 block of Edgewood Street Northeast, police said.

Officers responding to a call for service around 3:33 a.m. Sunday found Robinson with multiple gunshot wounds, police said.

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch are investigating a homicide which occurred in the 600 block of Edgewood Street, Northeast.

On Sunday, November 30, 2014, at approximately 3:33 am, police officers from the Fifth District responded to a call for service in connection to an unconscious person in the 600 block of Edgewood Street, Northeast. Upon arrival, they located an unconscious male inside the incident location, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services personnel arrived on the scene and found no signs consistent with life. The decedent has been subsequently transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for the District of Columbia where an autopsy will be performed to ascertain the cause and manner of death.

The decedent has been identified as 46-year-old Kevin Lamont Robinson, of Northeast, Washington, DC.

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons wanted for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
