Following are scheduled court appearances for murder cases. This information is current as of Thursday March 24 at six p.m. and will be re-verified throughout the week. Thursday

Keith Littlepage in courtroom 302 (Judge Thomas Motley) for a preliminary hearing in a first-degree murder case. The victim, Selina Knight, was stabbed to death March 5. Littlepage is represented by attorney Katerina Semyonova. The hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Charging documents in the case are here.

Larnell Allen and Kwan Kearney in courtroom 302 (Judge Thomas Motley) for a felony status conference in a first-degree murder case. The victim, Joseph Alonzo Sharps Jr, was shot to death Nov. 8, 2010. Allen is represented by attorney Lauren Bernstein. Kearney is represented by attorney John Briley. Jeremy Risper and Kwan Kearney in courtroom 302 (Judge Thomas Motley) for a felony status conference in a first-degree murder case. The victim, Jamal Wilson, was shot to death Nov. 14, 2010. Risper is represented by attorney Dana Page. Kearney is represented by attorney Gene Johnson. The hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Charging documents in the case are here.

Donell Washington in courtroom 319 (Judge William Jackson) for a status conference in a second-degree murder case. The victim, Stanley Dawson, was shot to death July 9, 2010. Washington is represented by attorney Anthony Matthews. The hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m.

Note: A vigil is planned Wednesday for the victims of the South Capitol Street murder. The event is scheduled to start at Brandywine and South Capitol streets Southeast at 6:30 p.m., followed by a community dialogue at Faith Presbyterian church.
