A 37-year-old Waldorf, MD man was arrested Thursday in connection with the violent death of Antwain Henderson.
Henderson, 34, was found dead in a burning car in Prince George’s County on Aug 31, 2011. Police believe he was shot and killed in Northeast D.C. early that same day.
Sean Donnelle Hawkins is expected to presented with a charge of second-degree murder in connection with Henderson’s death today.

WJLA reports that police believe a robbery was the motive of a crime that killed Hae Soon Lim, also known as “June” and “Grace,” early this morning at her H Street deli.
Reports WJLA:
MPD officials say that Hae Soon Lim, a Rockville Resident, was found dead inside the Grace Deli, in the 700 block of H Street NE, at about 6:30 a.m. Police say she had been shot in the neck.

A woman was found dead inside an H Street deli Thursday morning. MPD has classified the case as a “death investigation” and have scheduled a press conference for this afternoon.
NBC Washington identified the woman as June Lim, also known as “Grace.”
WJLA and the Washington Examiner report that the death is being investigated as a homicide, but that the woman’s cause of death has not yet been determined.

Curtis Patterson was sentenced today to 11 1/2 years in prison for obstruction of justice and gun possession in connection with the October 2010 shooting death of Angelo Jones.
At sentencing, Patterson told Judge Thomas Motley that he was just following the “rules of the street” when he gave his cousin the gun used to shoot Jones.

Brian Dewayne Bloomfield was both shot and stabbed before dying Monday night, MPD said in a statement Tuesday evening. The 26-year-old’s cause of death had not yet been determined when MPD identified him earlier Tuesday.
Bloomfield was found injured in a parking lot in the 3400 block of 13th Place Southeast at about 7:15 p.m.

A man fatally stabbed in Southeast DC Monday evening has been identified as 26-year-old Brian Dewayne Bloomfield.
Bloomfield was found by Seventh District police officers the 3400 block of 13th Place, SE. A statement from MPD said that Bloomfield had “multiple injuries.” He was pronounced dead at a hospital.

NBC Washington reports that a man stabbed Monday night in Southeast DC has died of his injuries.
The incident occured at about 7 p.m. in a parking lot; no arrests have been announced in connection with the case and the victim’s identity has not been released, NBC Washington reports.

Antwan Lamont Petty was killed last Saturday night in a shooting in Southeast DC.
Henry Charles Miller was killed in a shooting early last Sunday morning in Southeast DC. David Allen Shepherd was arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder while armed in connection with the crime.
Amber Lynette Kent was killed in a stabbing Monday morning in Southeast DC. Cydrisse Marcha-Marie Alvin is suspected of second-degree murder while armed in connection with the crime.
Phillip Crooms was sentenced Wednesday to ten years in prison for his role in a robbery that left 29-year-old Delonte Butler dead.
Davon Holmes pled innocent to fatally stabbing Marcellus Bailey in August 2011. Holmes, 29, is charged with one count of premeditated first-degree murder while armed.
Irving Johnson pled innocent to charges including first-degree murder in a Columbia Heights shooting that killed Domonique Barbourr and Jimmie Lee Simmons III.
Brandon Terry pleaded guilty to second-degree murder while armed in the fatal shooting of Jhonte Coleman. Coleman was killed in November 2011 after a party at Heritage India in Dupont Circle.
