Florida Avenue Stabbing Victim Identified as Dwayne Edward Brisbon
A man found stabbed inside a crashed car on Florida Avenue early this morning has been identified as 33-year-old Dwayne Edward Brisbon of Upper Marlboro, MD.
Police say Brisbon was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

NE DC Stabbing Victim Identified as Lamont Antonio Devore
A man fatally stabbed early Tuesday morning in northeast DC has been identified as 34-year-old Lamont Antonio Devore.
The stabbing was initially reported to have occurred on Quarles Street; MPD said mid-morning Tuesday that the crime scene was in the 1600 block of Kenilworth Avenue.

Five Homicides in Four Days in DC
Since Saturday, five men have been killed in separate violent attacks in DC, bringing the homicide tally for the year to 30.
The two most recent homicide victims, who at this time have not been identified, were each stabbed early Tuesday morning. One was killed on Florida Avenue Northwest, the other on Quarles Street Northeast.

The Associated Press reports that a man was killed in a stabbing on Quarles Street NE just after 1 a.m. Tuesday morning, the first of what two fatal stabbings in the District overnight.

Florida Avenue Stabbing Leaves Man Dead
An early morning stabbing on Florida Avenue overnight left one man dead, MPD said in a message on the Third District listserv Tuesday morning.
The message states:
On May 1, 2012, at approximately 2:15 a.m., Third District police officers were dispatched to the 500 block of Florida Ave. N.W. for a traffic accident. Read more
Dietrich Baker Arrested in Fatal Kenilworth Shooting
Dietrich Baker, a 23-year-old Northeast DC man, was arrested today in connection with the shooting death of James Ray Sherrod on Kenilworth Terrace.
Baker is suspected of second-degree murder while armed, MPD said.

Keyon Caldwell Pleads Guilty in April 11 NE DC Shooting
Today, just a little more than two weeks after his arrest, Keyon Caldwell pled guilty to one charge of voluntary manslaughter while armed in the shooting death of Draynell Paul Henderson.
Caldwell, 32, waived both a grand jury inquiry into the case and a trial by jury. At his initial court appearance he tried to speak several times.
