My Son HENRY D. KELLY aka (Lil Henry) was murderd March 5th, 2011, today the person is still walking the streets. I ask anyone that if you have or have heard any information as to who killed my son please turn over that information to MPD you can remain ANONYMOUS. This is something no one wants to go through, these young folks has to be stopped! I can not understand how we as people wana look out for murderers and not even have a care in the world about life. For those keeping count, 24-year-old Jose Hernandez-Romero was D.C.’s 21st homicide victim this year. Last year at this time, there had been 20 homicides.

District police are reporting an arrest in a fatal shooting last night. The victim, 24-year-old Jose Hernandez-Romero of the 1400 block of N Street, NW, died at a local hospital around 5 a.m.
According to a posting on the local police listseve, Hernandez-Romero was shot inside of an 11th Street business.
This morning at 2:25 am, police responded for a shooting at an establishment in the 1200 block of 11th Street, NW. They discovered that an argument between 2 adult males led to one subject to shoot the other in the upper torso. Ambulance transported the victim to the hospital where he later died of his injuries. Police arrested the suspect.

The case against 26-year-old Christian Taylor was put on hold today after Taylor told Judge Thomas Motley that he didn’t understand the charges against him or what was being done in court.
Taylor was in court to be arraigned on first-degree murder charges in the shooting deaths of 32-year-old Li-Jen Chih and his 59-year-old father, Ming-Kun Chih, killed during a robbery at their wholesale clothing business in Northeast D.C. last June. The Grand Jury has indicted Taylor on six counts of first degree murder in the case, as well as armed robbery and weapons possession charges. He declined to enter a plea.

Judge Thomas Motley today set a tentative date for the two men accused of killing Ricardo Minger to stand trial, despite the fact that neither man has been indicted and one has not yet had a preliminary hearing.

The teen accused of fatally shooting Gary Gordon in Southeast D.C. last weekend will be held in custody until her trial in May, the Associated Press reports.
The girl appeared in court for a hearing today. A trial date of May 9 was set at the hearing, AP said.

MS-13 Member Sentenced to Life in Prison Plus 150 Years on Federal Racketeering Charges - Crimes Included Murder of One Victim, Maiming of Another -
WASHINGTON - William Cordova, 26, also known as Centinella or Mario, was sentenced today to life in prison plus 150 years for his role in a series of crimes, including a murder, committed by the MS-13 gang in the Washington, D.C. area in 2006 and 2007.
The sentence, on federal racketeering charges, was announced by U.S. Attorney Ronald C. Machen Jr., John P. Torres, Special Agent in Charge of the Washington Office of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Office of Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), and Cathy L. Lanier, Chief of the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD).
