Keith Littlepage Stands Trial in Death of Girlfriend, Selina Knight
Jurors charged with determining whether Keith Littlepage killed his girlfriend, Selina Knight, heard the first evidence in the case today. Jurors were sworn in yesterday by Judge Thomas Motley.
Littlepage, 50, is suspected of fatally stabbing Knight at the Southeast DC home that they shared but she was trying to leave. He is charged with first degree murder while armed, kidnapping, and burglary, among other charges associated with the case, and has pled innocent.

Four of Last Week’s Five Homicides Now Closed with Arrests
It was DC’s deadliest week this year: four shootings and a stabbing leaving five men dead and five more injured.
The victims: Crevontai Key, 19, Julius Barnett Ellington, 35, Charles Anthony Scott Jr, 20, Michael Edward Jones, 30, and Davon Brown, 22.
As of Wednesday night, four of those cases had been closed with an arrest.

Jashua Johnson Arrested in Fatal Galen St. SE Double Shooting
Jashua Johnson, 19-year-old Southeast DC man was arrested Wednesday in connection with the shooting death of Davon Brown.
Brown was one of two shooting victims injured near Galen Street Southeast in the early hours of Sunday morning. Brown was pronounced dead at the scene, the other victim was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Donzell Butler Held in Stabbing Death of Charles Anthony Scott
Donzell Butler was ordered held today pending a preliminary hearing on a charge of second-degree murder while armed. Prosecutors say he stabbed Charles Anthony Scott on Saturday, killing him.
Butler was arrested on Wednesday after two witnesses identified him in photographs.

Bar Association Raising Funds to Help Family of Slain H St. Deli Owner June Lim
The Asian American Bar Association of DC has launched a fundraising effort to benefit the family of June Lim, killed outside her H Street deli last month.
Lim’s son, Peter Lim, said the family is honored by the effort and that donations will help his father who is suffering financial hardship.

Donzell Butler Arrested in Ames St. NE Fatal Double Stabbing
A 21-year-old Northeast DC man has been arrested in connection with a double stabbing on Ames Street Northeast that killed Charles Anthony Scott Jr. on Saturday.
Donzell Butler is suspected of second-degree murder while armed in connection with the case, MPD said.

Calvin Shaw Held in Fatal July 4 Gang Shooting
Calvin Shaw was ordered held today pending a preliminary hearing on a charge that he took part in a fatal gang-related shooting on the Fourth of July.
Nineteen-year-old Crevantai Key was killed in that shooting. Three others were injured.
Shaw, listed in court records as Sharkim Robinson, as well as Sharkim Sharp, is suspected of first-degree murder while armed.
