A 16-year-old Maryland teen has been arrested and charged as an adult in the death of Miguel Angel Drullard Jr.
Drullard is believed to have been intentionally struck by a vehicle in Northwest DC Oct. 6. Christian Navarette-Rivas, of Riverdale, Md., is suspected of second-degree murder while armed in connection with the case, MPD said.

A man killed in an early morning shooting on a Metro bus in Southeast DC has been identified as Demetrius Emmanuel Thompson, a 22-year-old from Southeast DC, MPD said.
Dan Stessel, spokesman for the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority, says a passenger on the W4 bus to Deanwood was shot several times by two suspects at a bus stop in the 2300 block of Alabama avenue shortly after midnight. Right now it is unclear if the man was shot before or after he exited the bus. Read more
Seventeen year old Derek Johnson appeared shackled before Judge Diana Epps today to be presented with a charge of second-degree murder in the death of a teen detectives say was a former classmate.

A 17-year-old from Northwest DC has been arrested in the shooting death of Jamar Freeman.
The teen, identified by police as Derek Johnson, was arrested on suspicion of second-degree murder while armed. He will be charged as an adult, MPD said. Read more

MPD released the following statement tonight on the shooting death of Mohammed Muktar Abduselam, who police believe was killed during a robbery at the gas station where he worked.
